This is so funny to me, Craig! I had the exact opposite in the user tests I was part of. I would be ; 'PLEASE STOP saying it is awesome and you would definitely use it and finish the flow. I know for a fact the conversion 10%. So 90% of you are lying, being to polite and NOT giving me the feedback I need!!!!! I want the dirt, the irritation, the things you don't get, or make you sigh and leave the flow. Nice interview vibe @John
Ah that soon changed, I stopped getting irritated or 'invested' to the extent that I was delighted to get negative feedback. My situation was complicated by moderating too (to gain experience) but eventually I learned to completely embrace testing - I looked FORWARD to finding out what was wrong. It's the best way to wash a product clear of obvious user defects and mismatches.
